The Chlorine Emergency Response Service

 
In 1971, the four UK manufacturers of Chlorine:-

 

• ICI Chlor-Chemicals Ltd
• Hays Chemicals Ltd
• Associated Octel Ltd
• Rhodia Eco-Services Ltd

 

pooled their knowledge and resources to develop
the Chlorine Emergency Response Service, known as ChlorAid

 

 ChlorAid  is a mutual-aid scheme available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to provide expert help and guidance to the Public Emergency Services, for the mitigation of any Chlorine incident, either on a Chlorine Customer or user's premises, or in the public domain.
